Small purple flower?

We have some unknown purple flowers growing in our yard. They are small, and are like drooping bells. They are on a thick, tall leafless green stem that is hollow inside. If anyone knows this flower please tell me, thanks.

Small purple flower?
Sounds like bluebells. You get two sorts, English and Spanish, both very similar.
Reply:this sounds just like the flowers I discovered in a part of my yard today! i goggled for pictures of bluebells and I think that's what they are. thanks for asking, now I know what I have too!
Reply:grape hyacinth? http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im...
Reply:How tall?

Just from the "purple, drooping, on a stalk" makes me think Lupine or Foxglove.
Reply:i can't understand how a flower can grow without any kind of leaf to produce photosynthesis..the stalk thing must almost grow up from some type of plant..... need more info.
