i open the blinds in the morning so they receive the morning easterly Michigan sun. Whats happening?

Might be it needs a rest. Mine has been dormant all winter and is just now starting to come alive. Don't water it, let it die back and then start watering it again in about a month. They are bulbs, you don't want them to rot. Good luck!
