Am I doing something wrong? I notice the purple one has some small shoots growing from the roots that bloom but not the rest of the tree. It is in sun, leaves look nice and it looks healthy and grows but just no flowers. I also water it.
I have two crepe myrtle trees - pink and purple but they only bloom every few years?

P.S.
Make sure your lawn fertilizer is now washing over into your C.M. area. This will cause pretty leaves but no flowers.
