How can i keep my flowers from dying fast?
If you can take the whole bunch of flowers out all at once and clip the bottoms of the stems this will keep the flowers hydrated better. If you can't do that then make sure they have fresh water every day. There are a lot of crazy additives I've heard people putting in to preserve the flowers the best is the packet that comes with the flowers but you can add a couple table spoons of sprite to the water too. I'm not sure if it really works I've never tried it but I have heard of those that swear by it. I was a florist for years but my allergies forced me from the job.
Reply:I am assuming they are cut flowers. Add a baby aspirin to the water the first day you get them and snip the end on the diagonal. Also make a new diagonal cut each day snipping about 1/4" and they should last 10-14 days. Keep them out of the sun also.
Reply:I always put a pinch of salt in the water...it makes them live a few days longer...also clean the water out maybe twice a week...
Reply:water it everyday then it will be fine.
Reply:water them.
