I bought purple flowers , which I though were lilacs, at the store. but about 5 day later, there were little white things on them. what r they?
Weird flowers?
maybe paper whites it would help if you show a pictue or some more info
Reply:First off a Lilac is a shrub not a flower. It has both beautiful and fragrant flowers in spring. Unearth the beast you purchased and return it to the store immediately for either a refund or a true lilac plant.

Reply:If the little white things were fuzzy, they may have been scale, but if they were slightly green and not fuzzy, probably aphids. I am assuming that these were live plants. If it was just a bouquet, I am afraid I don't know.
