My bromeliad has turned from purple to green?

When I bought from store the flower was stunning purple. Now it is turning a pale green. How can I get it back to purple? It is a small indoor plant (2 inch pot), I have it in a bright room that is warm.

Bromies bloom, the mother produces pups, then dies. Good news is the pups will grow happily, bloom, produce pups, then die.

They like to be watered in the funnel the leaves create.

Congrats on your new bromie kids.
Reply:some of them loose color when too dry or too wet. so put it in a room where it will get some sun, but not too much. if that doesnt work then maybe you are watering too much.

if it doenst improve by the end of summer then maybe it is naturally changing color and maybe will stay green or go back to purple, or maybe go to a red or orange
