A This question could be better answered with a description or a picture .Many plants meet this description. You may have ground ivy which is little purple plants in bloom but if you look closely you see that they are vining across the grass or yard. For ground ivy mix a tablespoon of boric acid power to a cup of water (increase for more solution) Spray the ground ivy with this solution. It will kill the ivy but not your grass. Stale beer will also do the same thing. Fresh beer will work too.
Does anyone know what those stupid little purple flower weeds are and how do you kill them?
WEED AND FEED, IT WILL KILL THE WEEDS AND NOT THE GRASS
Reply:flowers from clover they dont die easily
Reply:depending on your location, could be woods violet, black horehound native plants one is native of violets and the other a wild herb why do you want to kill them they are very pretty in a small way and even bloom in the snow nice spring, most weed killers work well lol/
Reply:they're clovers. and you have to get down on your hands and knees and pull them.
Reply:Depending on where in the country you are located they could be any number of things. Chicory is crazy wild around my area of IL. So is bindweed. Check with your local extension office if you're unsure.
