Colorado Flowers?

I need purple flowers within the vicinity of Colorado Springs, during the Fall. Can anyone give me some details about specific purple flowers in bloom this month? If you can name a couple within the foothills I can do the work to find them! Thanks!

Colorado Flowers?
Ok-Rev. This is the best possible plants that I can find that may help you.

Salvia'Indigo Spires' purple flowers. However states in zones 7-9. The Sunset Garden books Classify Colorado Springs as zone1-A. Then the other possible plant that may help is Hyssopus. officinalis. Dwarf.semi-evergreen,aromatic shrub with erect shoots and linear to narrowly lance-shaped,or oblong,mid-green leaves,to 2in (5cm) long. Slender spikes or whorled,funnel-shaped,2-lipped,dark blue flowers,1/2 (1.5cm) long, are produced from midsummer to early autumn. 24 in(60cm),- 3ft.(1m) Zones6-9. This is the best I can do with what I have to check for cross referance matrials Books. Good Luck Hope this will help. My-Referance books [A to Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants First American Edition 1997:] Then the other Referance material I checked was Better Homes %26amp; Gardens step-by-step Annuals, then also the Western Garden Book Sunset Revised and Updated Edition 2001 .
Reply:aster, blazing star, lavendar, lambs ear. These are perennials and found througout the year.
