If I am understanding you correctly.





Purple cactus (heterozygote for the dominant purple flower )is crossed with a recessive yellow flower.





if P = purple and p = yellow





Pp x pp





offspring = Pp, Pp, pp and pp.





Phenotype would then = 2 purple and 2 yellow.
