24, because 24 is a multiple of 6 and a multiple of 8.

Reply:If you make sure that you have only whole flowers and not pieces of flowers (LOL) it would be 24 because 24 is the smallest (least) common denominator between 1/6 and 1/8. 24 is both a multiple of 6 and 8 and is the first time the positve multiples of 6 and 8 cross ( and also is the only crossing point in the given answers). for 1/6 and 1/8 to be true at the same time, the total must be a crossing point (LCD, etc.).
