Recently drove across Kansas; saw areas of planted (?) purple flowers? Identity?

Russell's eustoma, also called Russell's prairie-gentian, Eustoma grandiflorum , Comanche County, Kansas.


"They are so delightful to find - especially this time of the year when it is dry and everything looks pretty stressed." There is also pics on this website, alot of pretty flowers in Kansas I hope this is the one and if not i hope you find it.

Could be anything but probably Lupins which seem to grow wild everywhere in the lower 48 states.
